Enterprise Environmental Factors (EEFs) and Organizational Process Assets (OPAs) are the most important areas of focus for Organizational influences on project management in almost all processes in the ten knowledge areas. Enterprise environmental factors can be internal or external, while organizational process assets are always internal to an organization.
During
Project handling, Project manager might have to face numerous obstacles or
problems and project manager needs to take care of Organizational
influences on project management.
Some of them might be brought about by absence of proper planning or by some different reasons that you can control. But there can be some conditions which cannot be under control of Project team members which can be called as Enterprise Environmental Factors.
There are internal and external factors that might influence projects. These factors can be named as Enterprise Environmental Factors (EEFs). Organizational infrastructure, skill availability, risk attitude, governance approach, etc are examples of internal EEFs political and financial climate are examples of external EEFs.
Projects
will use policies and standards, past metrics, and may apply lessons from
previous similar types of projects. Such artefacts are also known as
Organizational Process Assets (OPA).

of organization but also general management and governance aspects.
What are Enterprise Environmental Factors?
Enterprise
environmental factors (EEFs) are conditions that will influence the
organization, the project, and its outcome that are not under the
immediate control of the project team. As we discussed
previously, these factors can be either internal or external to the
organization. Every organization must exist and work within the enterprise
environmental factors (EEFs).
The major environmental
factors which can influence project management can be categorized into three;
organizational, human resources and technological systems.
Enterprise environmental
factors may have influence on project constraints: Positively or negatively. Enterprise
environmental factors are inputs to many project management planning processes.

The Enterprise
Environmental Factors are classified into two categories:
